The Rotary Club of Hayfork welcomes you to our website. We
have developed this site to offer you information about Rotary
International, Rotary District
5160 and our Club here in Hayfork. In addition we offer information
on local community activities. We encourage you to meet our members.
We hope you will make use of this website to learn more about Rotary
and what Rotarians are doing, through the Rotary
Foundation, worldwide to promote peace through understanding and
aid in humanitarian efforts. Rotarians are working together to end
polio and other treatable diseases, aid victims of natural and other
disasters, help educate the disadvantaged and help those with physical
disabilities. Our members along with Rotarians throughout the world
are making a positive difference in the lives of peoples worldwide.
Since its charter in 1947 the members of the Hayfork Rotary Club
have been focused locally on the youth, the elderly and others with
special needs in the Hayfork community. Youth education has been and
is our primary focus. We provide scholarships to high school seniors
every year. We send two high school juniors to Camp
Royal, a week long Rotary
District 5160 leadership training camp. Our members are a major
force in keeping the community streets clean. We help provide Christmas
gifts for the children of needy families. We have adopted Valley
Continuation High School, so that we can assist in the success
of these students that do not find the standard high school setting
workable for them. These many projects, and more, build camaraderie
among our members, and our weekly meetings
offer fellowship, fun and the sharing of local information.
If all this has you feeling that you would like to be involved in
Rotary, please contact one of our members or contact
us via email to find out more about the Rotary membership.
